He has more than 15 years of experience in treating patients with various injuries including 4 Years with Indian Army as a physiotherapist. He is skilled in Acupuncture and Concussion Treatment. He is fluent in English, Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu. He has done various Manual therapy courses (Maitland, Cyriax, Kaltenborn and Butler). He has excellent communication and therapeutic Skills.
I, Nitika Karir, working as clinical Director at sunshine physiotherapy and sports clinic. I was born in Jalandhar (Punjab), northern part of India. I always had an keen interest in physiotherapy and it turned into passion when I started my bachelor’s program and i became wonderstruck on how healing can take place in most natural way.
I did my bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, INDIA. My bachelor’s program laid a strong foundation for my successful career.
I have more than 10 years of clinical experience in treating orthopedics sports, work place injuries, motor vehicle accident injuries and arthritis.
My area of expertise is mainly hand on therapy which includes different techniques. I have done acupuncture and dry needling/IMS course which has further enhanced my practice.
In my spare time, I enjoy outings with family and friends and travelling to different places.
